An important tourist centre in the western part of the Slovak Paradise. It is situated in the valley of the Veľké Biele vody (Big White Waters) river at the beginning of the Hornád Canyon, where the Suchá Belá (Dry Belá) ravine joins the Hornád river. A very suitable starting point for the tourist hikes in the Slovak Paradise.

ACCESS: By train with direction to Žilina or Košice (get off at the railway station Hrabušice - Vydrník or Spišský Štiavnik). By bus from Spišská Nová Ves through Spišský Štvrtok. On foot from Spišský Štiavnik, Betlanovce and Hrabušice.
